I’m Charnele, a public servant, Project Manager, FAA licensed Drone Pilot, self-taught graphic designer and videographer.

Born and raised in Topeka, Kansas - don’t bother with the Wizard of Oz references, I’ve never seen it. As a teenager, I designed graphics for my local church. After moving to Michigan for college, I became involved with my current church’s media team, where I continue to cultivate my skills in graphics and videos.

I became interested in drones during graduate school as a tool for law enforcement but also saw their benefits in the creative world. I enjoy flying, capturing moments that can only be seen from the air. Designing, creating, editing photos and videos is cathartic for me, an escape from my busy work life as a public servant in critical infrastructure.

I love Jesus, my church, family and friends who are also family. I have a lot of love in my life which allows me to be able to do everything with my whole heart. No frills, no chasers, no confusion - with me, what you see is what you get. If I’m awake, I’m doing something…
